Rising through the cracks of Sporeborn squalor, Grand Alchemist SEBLISS’ journey to renown began at Thalu Community College, where she earned her associate’s degree, with distinction, in astrology, alchemical arts and herbalism.

Her unexpected admission to the prestigious Ymrys Academy of Sigils & Sorcery (YASS) surprised everyone, including the admissions office, where her name quickly became the subject of whispered speculation and caution. 

Yet few could deny the otherworldly intelligence Sebliss exuded, even as her presence and sharp gaze unnerved faculty and classmates who nicknamed her the “Fungaloid Freak,” preferring their hallowed halls free of unexpected mold. 

Undeterred by their disdain, Sebliss thrived in isolation, wielding her intellect as both a shield and weapon. She often frequented the shadowy corners of the library, where her interests in necromancy, divination and enchantment bloomed into a disturbing fascination for elder gods and forbidden lore. For Sebliss, academia was not merely about knowledge but the power it bestowed to reshape the cosmos — one carefully planted seed at a time.

In record time, she humbled many a complacent magus, cultivating her air of superiority as she claimed the coveted tricord and title of Grand Magus. Her unmatched brilliance was often reflected in a smirk that suggested a mind always a step ahead, quietly amused by the mediocrity surrounding her.

Upon a predecessor’s “unfortunate” and purely coincidental exit, she assumed the prestigious role of Grand Alchemist. As Maduta’s trusted advisor, she concocts potions and perfumes that twist the very fabric of reality, each creation a testament to her indomitable spirit, never confined by the roots from which she sprang.
